8.5.1. Maple syrup may be graded only on the following conditions:
(a)  meet the provisions of section 8.4.1 or 8.4.1.1;
(b)  in the case of maple syrup referred to in section 8.4.1, have determined its colour grade in accordance with Schedule 8.B.
Maple syrup must be graded by the maple grove operator or the maker.

8.5.1. Grading of maple syrup in small containers: Maple syrup conditioned for sale in small containers must:
(a)  comply with the requirements of section 8.4.1;
(b)  be graded by the maple grove operator or the maker:
i.  under one of the categories determined in Schedule 8.A; and
ii.  in one of the colour grades prescribed in Table A of Schedule 8.B.
